The Los Angeles Conservancy is accepting applications for its 30th Annual Preservation Awards, which recognize outstanding achievement in the field of historic preservation in L.A. County. According to the Conservancy, projects must have been completed by December 31, 2010, be located in Los Angeles County, and meet nationally recognized standards for the treatment of historic properties and landscapes (in the case of construction or landscape projects) to qualify. Downey's former Harvey's/Johnie's Broiler, now a Bob's Big Boy, won the LA Conservancy's President's Award for preservation last year. More via their site.
