Calatrava in Toronto

(added few years ago!)

The Allen Lambert Galleria, a 6 storey pedestrian avenue designed by Santiago Calatrava in Toronto is the only work by Calatrava that I have seen personally. It is a real architecture, a combination of art and technology. Its organic structure does remind me of trees and skeletons. The cathedral-like space is just amazing.
