Vdara Hotel & Spa at CityCenter, the joint project between MGM Mirage and Dubai World, had a grand opening on Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The project is said to be the biggest privately financed construction project in United States' history and one of the world's largest green projects being built with the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Gold certified Green Building Rating System.
The 57-story hotel and condominium tower is the first part of the 67-acre, $8.5 billion (Dh31.19bn) mixed-use urban development centre to open.
